Rieteiland House by Hans van Heeswijk architecten

Rieteiland House is a project by Hans van Heeswijk architecten situated on the island of Ijburg near Amsterdam. This waterside residence is a lovely example of an harmonic combination of use of 'timeless' materials such as glass, steel, concrete and wood. The opened waterfront facade is in a fascinating contradiction to the inner massive core constructed in the center of the house, that rises the full threestorey height of the bilding.
