The use of color in our project.
In our project, wich is the interior designof a hairsalon in the city of Lamia, we used color and also materials through wich we applied color to every part of the interior. We also used in our project idea, the color through light. We did this by using optic fibres in somes parts of the celling as our designs show. The materials that we used is dark wenge wood combined with glass and inox metal and on some walls decorative paints with effects on the surface. The hairsalon, that we designed,is separated in two rooms. In the first one we have the reception area and the island styling unit and in the second room we have the shampoo units and shampoo chairs an a little kitchen. In both rooms, we used the same kind of materials in woods, metal and glass. We also used in all the chairs and on the waiting area, on the couch, leathers of snake skin and dark brown fur pillows. Our aim was to create a feeling to every person that will visit this hairsalon, and make them feel very relaxed and comfortable and at the same time the interior to be luxurius and derive the feeling of serenity. The optic fibres that we used on some parts of the celling, can change colors if we want to.according to different sequences, and we thought that this could be used in the afternoon and evening as a kind of chromotherapy for all the visitors and clients of the hairsalon , to relax them and create a happy and serene atmosphere.
